Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior QA/QC Engineer to join our team! We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities to join our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for a large scale luxury project in Riyadh The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a proactive approach to quality management.
What You'll Be Doing:
Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, and standards for design and construction projects.
Conduct inspections, audits, and tests to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.
Monitor contractor and supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
Maintain detailed documentation of QA/QC activities, including quality performance reports, checklists, and certifications.
Serve as a Project Management Consultant to provide expert advice on quality management strategies.
Collaborate with project teams to establish quality benchmarks and performance metrics.
Conduct regular project reviews to assess quality compliance and recommend improvements.
Provide training and mentorship to project teams on QA/QC best practices and standards.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all QA/QC activities.
Prepare and present quality reports to stakeholders and senior management.
Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure quality expectations are met.
Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices in QA/QC and project management.
Set quality objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and monitor performance against targets
Oversee the preparation and approval of quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and other QA/QC documentation.
Drive internal audits, third-party inspections, and client quality assessments.
Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), root cause analyses, and corrective/preventive actions.
Ensure all construction and commissioning activities comply with project specifications, standards, and contractual obligations.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in QA/QC roles, in quality management within large scale projects.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 10005, IEC 17025,etc).
Familiarity with design processes, construction standards, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or similar is a plus.
