WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Quality Assurance Specialist with demonstrated expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies. This position encompasses comprehensive responsibility for all testing activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring enhanced test coverage and accelerated delivery timelines.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans for web and mobile applications
Lead end-to-end testing initiatives across functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) phases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, define test scenarios, and identify edge cases
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright, Robot Framework, or equivalent automation tools
Conduct API testing utilizing Postman, REST-assured or similar platforms to validate backend-frontend integration
Demonstrate proficiency in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies
Design and integrate automated testing within DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Execute cross-platform and cross-browser testing to ensure responsive design and compatibility
Monitor, analyze, and report test results; coordinate with development teams to facilitate timely issue resolution
Ensure compliance with quality standards, industry best practices, and security protocols
Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies, testing tools, and QA industry trends
Apply expert knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies with deep understanding of automation frameworks and testing strategies
Leverage Generative AI technologies for quality engineering optimization (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical field
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in quality assurance for web and mobile applications
Demonstrated expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies
Hands-on experience developing automated test suites using Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or comparable frameworks
Proficiency in RESTful API and web services testing utilizing Postman, REST Assured, Swagger, or equivalent tools
Practical experience integrating testing processes within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, or similar platforms
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and corresponding testing methodologies
Proven track record working within Agile development environments and applying industry-standard delivery frameworks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
Nice-to-have:
Experience in E2E testing of complex and critical web applications for commercial clients
Experience in development/coding with Ruby, Groovy, Spring boot, Cypress
Code inspection tool knowledge/working experience with SonarQube
Experience with Containerizations tools like OpenShift, Dockers, Kubernetes, AWS ECS
Experience using test optimization and performance monitoring tools – ConfirmIQ, Dynatrace
