About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organized and collaborative professional to join our team as Specialist, Project. In this role, the Specialist, Project supports the Director, Strategic Planning by supporting and executing strategic initiatives across Title & Registration (T&R). This role partners with cross-functional stakeholders to drive disciplined delivery, risk/issue management, and adoption readiness for prioritized programs and operational improvements. The Specialist supports implementation planning, project governance, communications, and change enablement to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to strategic and operational priorities.

What You'll Do

  • Plan and manage multiple project team activities, ensuring alignment with program goals and business priorities.

  • Build baseline project scope, timelines, and deliverables for operational initiatives.

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans, RAID logs, trackers, and status updates.

  • Coordinate deliverables and dependencies across internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent execution.

  • Lead team project meetings, ensuring clear agendas, documented outcomes, action item alignment, and follow-through across stakeholders.

  • Translate program objectives into actionable workstreams, schedules, and detailed task plans.

  • Support program governance routines, including weekly reporting, leadership reviews, and compliance with project management standards.

  • Provide structured updates to leadership on progress, escalations, risks, and required decisions.

  • Own project documentation standards within SharePoint, ensuring document control protocols, permissions, and content governance guidelines.

  • Maintain and administer the department’s SharePoint site, including site structure, page updates, content organization, and ongoing upkeep to support team collaboration.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Project Management, Operations or related field required.

  • 4+ years of experience in project coordination, operations support, or cross-functional execution.

  • Experience in a matrixed, fast-paced environment supporting multiple workstreams.

  • Practical experience with reporting, data validation, and KPI tracking.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills supporting leadership-level output.

  • Strong PC proficiency including Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software including LucidChart and JIRA.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fleet industry or customer service desired.

  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities with experience managing structured documentation and deliverables.

  • Knowledge of agile principles including Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement methods, and structured problem-solving frameworks.

  • Proficiency with project management tools including RAID logs, trackers, and workflow systems.

  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.

  • Strong expertise with SharePoint or similar documentation and communication management platforms.

Location: Owings Mills, MD

The hiring base salary range for this position is $75,500 to $103,840 USD annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
