[What the role is]

The Education & Manpower Development (E&MD) team oversees policies and programmes which aim to build a skilled arts workforce that will shape Singapore’s cultural development.



To support the professional development of the arts sector, our key strategic directions include manpower planning and development through research on the arts workforce, skills development, manpower policies as well as talent and leadership development.



Among our key programmes in leadership development are the Cultural Medallion and Young Artist Award (CMYAA) and the NAC Arts Scholarship. The Senior Project Manager/ Project Manager will work closely with Manpower Development team from June to December 2025 to oversee event preparations and coordination for both initiatives, working towards the key event dates as follow:

NAC Scholarship Award Ceremony (July 2026)

CMYAA Engagement Session (October 2026) and CMYAA Ceremony (December 2026).

[What you will be working on]

What you will be working on: 

(i) Oversee appointment of appointed Event Management Companies (EMC) and vendors (including photography and videography) and ensure they deliver as per specifications, requirements and timeline 

(ii) Oversee venue set-ups and tear-downs including furniture, backdrop, F&B, AV equipment, branding collaterals etc. 

(iii) Liaise with venues i.e. logistics and equipment matters and coordinate with EMCs accordingly 

(iv) Oversee administrative duties, including guestlist management and liaison, volunteer management, printing of certificates 

(v) Ensure the smooth running of the events 

(vi) Oversee project closure and conduct after-action review

[What we are looking for]

What we are looking for:  

• Minimum 5 years of experience with a strong track record in project or event management (of this scale and stature)  

• Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word & Powerpoint 

• Planning, coordination and communication  

• Data and numerical literacy  

• Problem solving and critical thinking  

• Good command of written English  

• Managing diverse types of vendors and organisers  

• Proactive, resourceful, self-motivated and a team player  

• Able to work independently and deals effectively with work pressure to meet tight deadlines and is highly adaptable 

• Willingness to learn  

• Interest and involvement in the arts will be advantageous
