The anticipated salary range for this position is $145,000-$155,000 yr/.  The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

The Senior Project Manager, Operations, will be responsible to lead a range of projects from strategic to business continuity for the corporate manufacturing operations division to achieve Products & Health Services objectives. 

In scope are projects such as qualification of new products, new manufacturing sources, as well as projects required to change finished product, raw materials, labeling, to address supply, quality, supply, or regulatory compliance.  Projects may also include improvement initiatives around the project management process.  Coordination with Manufacturing sites, Procurement, Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Engineering, and Marketing teams will be required to facilitate timely communication and successful project execution and issue resolution.

Success in this position requires strong project management capabilities, use of visual management, ability to remove barriers and problem solve, continuous improvement mindset, and change management capabilities

Details:

  • Lead large scope projects including product launches, continuous improvement initiatives, cost savings projects, or manufacturing sourcing changes
  • Lead projects related to supply continuity, qualification of new raw material, new raw material suppliers, or finished good suppliers
  • Lead projects related to regulatory, quality, compliance requirements involving new codes and/or packaging updates
  • Lead line extension projects
  • Coordinate similar initiatives and projects across multiple manufacturing sites to insure streamlined and connectivity in efforts
  • Lead or support corporate processes for project management prioritization, resource allocation and related processes development
  • Support continuous improvements in existing business processes through problem solving, root cause identification, and adherence to standards.
  • Execute projects with excellence utilizing project management and risk assessment tools
  • Ensure actions are consistent with regulatory standards and corporate policy.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university (or equivalent experience and training)
  • Must have minimum 10 years’ experience in project leadership experience leading cross functional teams
  • Must have a broad appreciation and understanding of implementation of project management and change management within medical device industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical and operational assignments with FDA regulated products is preferred.
  • Experience working with global teams, cross functional teams, manufacturing, and operations sites

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
  • Expertise in Microsoft Project, Excel, WORD, PowerPoint and Visio supporting tools.
  • PMP certification strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Ability to manage dynamic workload, work on multiple projects concurrently, organized
  • Ability to problem solve, analyze and synthesize data for issue resolution and decision making
  • Ability to work in complex Global organization and at multiple levels to influence stakeholders
