Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Project Execution
Act as the Technical SPOC for assigned projects, owning end‑to‑end technical delivery.
Lead the team through the entire project lifecycle.
Drive execution of all assigned projects to ensure on‑time delivery, quality, cost effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Proactive technical reviews to identify, analyze, and get resolve the technical issues and risks across projects.
Domain & Technology Expertise
Apply strong technology and application knowledge within Pharma/Life Sciences and CPG environments.
Leverage expertise in Life Sciences/Pharma applications, including GMP and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements (preferred).
Ensure all technical solutions are fit-for-purpose, compliant, and aligned with customer and regulatory expectations.
Stakeholder & Resource Management
Lead and influence cross‑functional, multi‑disciplinary teams, including resources not under direct line supervision.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, project managers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Drive proactive, strategic, and transparent communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality, Cost & Scope Management
Ensure all technical deliverables meet project requirements, adhere to scope boundaries, and maintain high quality standards.
Drive engineering cost optimization through:
Use of productivity tools
Standardization and modularization
Reuse of proven designs and solutions
Application of domain expertise and best practices
Apply strong issue, risk, and change management practices to control scope creep and project impact.
Continuous Improvement
Capture and share technical learnings, best practices, and standard approaches across projects.
Contribute to improvement of engineering processes, standards, and excellence in execution.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience working through the complete project lifecycle (Design → Engineering → Commissioning → Validation) in the Pharma/Life Sciences industry.
Strong hands‑on knowledge of technology applications relevant to automation and control systems, especially in:
Batch process automation
SCADA/HMI systems
Demonstrated expertise in:
FTBatch / FTView SE / Phase Manager (or equivalent platforms)
ISA S88 standards
21 CFR Part 11 compliant environments
Exposure to digital solutions shall be a plus.
Demonstrated ability to drive multiple projects in parallel at different stages.
Experience working in matrix organizations with strong stakeholder management skills.
