Base Pay Range:

$71,000-$76,000

As Senior Program Specialist, your essential job functions will include the following:

Management of Program Communications

  • Daily management of multiple OEM communication platforms (i.e.  dedicated program websites and email newsletters) or content tied to assigned specialty areas or initiatives in order to meet customer expectations including management of critical customer information in support of the program.
  • Manage the Program communication processes, while ensuring content accuracy and meeting customer expectations, analyzing for improvement and ensuring implementation of any changes.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and cross-functional groups to manage the coordination of content creation.
  • Manage and execute testing for communication platforms as needed

Management of Special Projects and Initiatives

  • Manage and execute assigned special projects in support of the OEM(s), and:
  • Determine project requirements by assessing what the business needs and requires.
  • Think systematically to identify and address both internal and external impacts to processes, departments, customers, IT/systems, Sales, reporting tools, etc.
  • Manage all aspects of the project including, defining scope, assessing the current state, recommending the future state, defining an implementation plan, measuring results and communicating updates to the appropriate audiences at the appropriate times.
  • Build capabilities, identify improvement opportunities and design efficient solutions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure on-time and on-budget results.
  • Lead communication with cross-functional areas.
  • Manage project budget by ensuring each process step adds value, is continuously improved and uses resources efficiently.

Management of Assigned Specialty Area(s)

  • Support and serve as subject matter expert for specialty areas of OEM tire and maintenance product programs, as assigned.
  • Examine and implement opportunities to improve processes, promoting effective communication and efficient program execution.
  • Serve as the primary contact for the assigned Specialty Area(s) for all OEM program specific information across the organization.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and cross-functional groups to manage the operation of the programs.

Process Administration

  • Review and document practices and procedures within Area(s) of Focus.
  • Make recommendations and develop solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Assist with testing as needed for system enhancements.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Communicate and work with team and cross-functional departments as needed.
  • Manage OEM activities to meet or exceed program goals and objectives.
  • Other customer service or program resolution issues handled, as necessary.
  • Support implementation of Special Projects or Initiatives as needed.

Other Duties as Assigned

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; degrees in Business, Marketing, Management or related field are preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, project management, program management, product development or marketing operations is required, along with proven history of experience with projects requiring a high attention to detail, organizational skills, multi-tasking, problem solving and independent judgment
  • Familiarity working in a team composed of cross-functional stakeholders is required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical to success and are required
  • Ability to present thoughts, ideas and concepts clearly in both formal and informal venues is preferred
  • Attention to detail and thinking systematically are critical to success and required
  • Ability to perform and thrive in a fast-paced environment is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) products is required
  • Ability to build, maintain and leverage business relationships both internally and externally is required

Physical Job Requirements

  • Continuous viewing from and inputting data to a computer screen.
  • Sitting for long periods of time.
  • Travel as necessary (< 10%).
