The Role
As Senior Program Manager, you will be a strategic leader guiding high-impact, cross-functional programs that drive transformation across Deckers’ global business. You’ll operate at the intersection of business, technology, and organizational change—translating strategy into action, navigating complexity, and ensuring measurable outcomes. This role is both a thought partner and execution leader, championing a global-first mindset and integrating hybrid delivery approaches to balance speed, value, and risk. You’ll bring rigor, adaptability, and vision to program governance, proactively managing interdependencies, risks, and stakeholder engagement.

Your Impact
- Translate enterprise strategy into structured, executable program plans that deliver measurable value and drive business transformation
- Guide and support multi-disciplinary teams through the entire program lifecycle, ensuring delivery of initiatives, epics, and projects within scope and timelines
- Partner with business, technology, and executive stakeholders to align goals, foster shared accountability, and drive engagement
- Enable realization of business capabilities, benefits, and KPIs through a value-driven approach that supports Deckers’ digital and data strategy
- Lead governance and decision-making forums, driving alignment, risk management, and resource coordination across global teams
- Proactively identify risks, drive mitigation strategies, and maintain transparency through portfolio reporting and executive updates
- Serve as a key liaison between business functions, data, and technology teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
- Champion standard processes and out-of-the-box capabilities, vetting customization requests with clear value cases
- Drive change adoption, accountability, and stakeholder alignment as a visible leadership presence
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related discipline (MBA or Master’s preferred)
- PMP, PgMP, SAFe Program Consultant, or equivalent certifications strongly preferred; additional credentials in AI, automation, or Agile at scale are a plus
- 10+ years of program management experience, including 5+ years in senior roles leading complex, cross-functional programs
- Demonstrated leadership in managing large-scale, global, or enterprise-wide programs
- Strong command of hybrid program delivery methods (Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, etc.)
- Skilled in aligning programs to business capability maps and strategic value initiatives
- Executive presence and the ability to influence across senior levels of business and IT
- Proven ability to influence across levels and functions without direct authority
- Experience integrating automation, AI, and systems thinking into program frameworks
- Experience in the branded consumer products, retail, supply chain or apparel industry is highly desirable
- Track record of managing global initiatives with distributed teams and diverse stakeholder groups
- Systems thinking and strategic foresight
- Strong analytical, financial, and organizational skills
- Advanced communication and negotiation abilities
- Expertise in outcome-driven delivery and business capability enablement
- Proficiency with Jira, Aha.io, Confluence, and program portfolio tools
- High emotional intelligence and adaptability in complex environments
- Commitment to continuous learning and leveraging emerging technologies for program success

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in Goleta, CA. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
