Pay Range: $44.99 - $58.48/hr. | $93,574 - $121,646 annual compensation

Workdays & Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. Some evening/weekend work required. Remote or hybrid work may be considered after completing a successful probation period and are subject to department approval. After probation, typical schedules include 1-2 remote workdays.

The City of Fort Worth seeks a Senior Professional Engineer to serve on a dynamic team responsible for Vision Zero implementation. If you enjoy interacting with the public and developing innovative approaches to meeting the community’s safety needs, this role is for you! The Planning/Engineering team serves a critical role in receiving traffic safety concerns, coordinating field investigations and data collection, and recommending and implementing infrastructure solutions. The Sr. Professional Engineer will play a pivotal role in the implementation of the City’s Vision Zero Safety Action Plan, specifically in the Safe Routes to School and the ADA & Sidewalk Programs. The Plan includes a suite of 34 policy and program improvements as well as 10 infrastructure projects that will help the City eliminate traffic fatalities and serious injuries.
