As a Sr. PSE – SEO & AI Search, you will go beyond ticket resolution and act as a product and domain expert. You will own complex customer issues, influence product improvements, and help shape HighLevel’s strategy across:
Traditional SEO (technical + on-page)
AI SEO (content optimization for AI-driven systems)
LLM SEO (optimization for generative search platforms)
Local SEO (Google Business Profile, listings, reviews, Yext)
Act as the highest escalation point for SEO-related issues across:
Websites, Funnels, Blogs
Domains & DNS configurations
Indexing, crawling, rendering issues
Structured data & schema
Local listings (Yext, GBP)
Debug complex problems involving:
Crawlability (robots.txt, sitemap, canonicalization)
Page speed/Core Web Vitals
JavaScript rendering issues (SSR vs CSR implications)
Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Support to drive resolution.
Diagnose and guide issues related to:
Content visibility in AI search platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity)
Structured content for LLM ingestion (semantic markup, embeddings-ready content)
Help define best practices for:
AI-readable content structures
Entity-based SEO
Knowledge graph optimization
Work on improving:
Internal linking strategies for LLM discoverability
Content chunking and context optimization
Own debugging and optimization for:
Google Business Profile integrations
Yext listings sync issues
NAP consistency and citation management
Analyze ranking drops in local pack and suggest actionable fixes
Guide teams on:
Review signals and reputation management
Proximity vs relevance vs prominence factors
Identify recurring patterns and translate them into:
Product improvements
Feature requests
Automation opportunities
Partner with Product Managers to:
Define roadmap for SEO & AI SEO features
Improve onboarding and UX for SEO tools
Actively contribute to PRDs and product discussions
Analyze and troubleshoot using:
APIs (indexing APIs, integrations)
Databases and logs
Browser dev tools
Work with:
Vue.js-based frontend
REST APIs
MongoDB (or similar)
Understand and debug:
Rendering issues affecting SEO
Tracking scripts (external tracking, analytics, pixels)
Create high-quality documentation for:
SEO troubleshooting playbooks
AI SEO best practices
LLM optimization frameworks
Enable support teams with:
Clear SOPs
Training sessions
Escalation guidelines
Mentor junior PSEs and support engineers
Drive quality standards in issue resolution
Lead deep-dive sessions on SEO, AI SEO, and technical debugging
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
4–7+ years of experience in:
Technical support / Solution Engineering / SEO Engineering
Strong expertise in:
Technical SEO (indexing, crawling, rendering, schema)
Website performance & Core Web Vitals
Domain, DNS, SSL configurations
Hands-on experience with:
Google Search Console, GA4
SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.)
Working knowledge of:
APIs, databases, and frontend frameworks (Vue.js preferred)
Strong analytical and debugging skills
Excellent communication with ability to explain complex SEO issues simply
Experience with:
AI SEO / Generative search optimization
LLM behavior and content optimization strategies
Familiarity with:
Knowledge graphs, entities, and semantic SEO
Experience working on:
SaaS platforms or website builders
Prior experience influencing product roadmap
