Your Opportunity, Your Team
- As a Senior Product Manager, you will manage products within the Merchandising Domain, focusing on defining the strategy based on market research, customer and internal user needs, our goals and strategy, and market trends. You will present our merchandise story to our customers and internal usuers via Product Information Management (PIM) tools like Stibo PIM that will allow vendors to provide product information, internal teams to review and approve that information, and syndicate that product data to impacted systems. You will transform our strategic planning and merchandising capabilities that influence merchandising and buying decisions to ensure our customers are offered the best product assortment. The main facets of the technology product scope include Product Information Management via Stibo PIM, Product Creation and Maintenance Workflows, and Data Governance. You will report to the Manager of Product Management.

- This role is remote; job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: DE, NJ, PA. This role may require you to be on site at our West Chester, PA office as needed.
What You'll Do
- Product Discovery: Work independently to build an understanding of our customers by applying a variety of techniques and sources and produces artifacts like e.g. customer journey maps to communicate and discuss insights with the broader team. Identify assumptions and collect evidence to determine riskiest assumption
- Product Requirements: Lead requirements gathering effort - consulting with Product Management, Business Stakeholders, Legal, IT, and others. Work with subject matter experts across the organization to gather requirements, understand business rules and challenges or limitations and respond to our needs
- Document requirements for important functions, deconstructing the epic into relevant user stories. Ensure that stories focus on the value the user gains from the product. Define the test/feature acceptance criteria which will confirm that a user story works
- Product Backlog Management: Translates the product roadmap into a product backlog, refining and estimating stories. Manage and adjust for risk, and prioritize product backlog according to business priority
- Responsible for a successful outcome of the product delivered. Analyze the production system to expose weaknesses and work with the team to find ways to re-design for greater success
- Product Strategy & Vision: Advise on product strategy and vision, providing input based on customer research in product discovery and stakeholder feedback
- Stakeholder Management: Lead the conversation with stakeholders and SMEs to identify requirements.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience· 5+ years in Product Management, and experience in a retail environment
- Expertise in technologies, platforms, and processes as it relates to technology products for Merchandising (Stibo PIM or other enterprise level PIM systems), including Product strategy, processes, regulations, and interdependencies with other Product areas and teams
- Understanding of current and new technologies and can provide advise on process and technology to partners
- Manage projects including execution on plans, resource management and anticipating and resolving conflicting needs
- Knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g. SOX, PCI) to act as an advocate for compliance throughout the organization
