The Mission
Own and scale NGL’s revenue, funnels, and lifecycle growth by turning traffic into durable, monetizable user behavior. You will run growth as a system…from acquisition through retention…while protecting the viral mechanics that make NGL work.
This role is measured in metrics shipped, not features shipped.

The Role
This role reports directly to the General Manager - NGL and operates as the single-threaded owner of growth and monetization for the product. You will work cross-functionally with Monetization, Paid UA, Engineering, Design, and Data, and you will own feature rollout end-to-end in partnership with Engineering.
What You’ll Do
- Monetization Systems
- You own all product-led revenue systems:
- Subscription pricing, tiers, and trials
- Optimize onboarding and paywall timing by traffic source
- One-time purchases (reveals, hints, boosts)
- Paywall timing, copy, UX, and placement
- Revenue per active user (ARPDAU / ARPU)
- Monetization performance by cohort (influencer, paid UA, organic)
- Extensive collaboration with Monetization Team by translating revenue strategy into shipped product features
- You are accountable for revenue lift without growth decay.
- Organic Funnels, Influencer & Creator Funnels
- NGL is creator-driven. You own:
- Influencer onboarding flows
- Creator-specific product surfaces and incentives
- Conversion paths from influencer posts → installs → paid actions
- Monetization differences by creator tier and audience quality
- Feedback loops that increase creator posting frequency and retention
- Partnerships source creators. Product owns the funnel.
- Funnel Ownership (End-to-End)
- You own the full lifecycle:
- Entry (Snap, IG, TikTok, deep links)
- First-session experience and activation
- Message reveal mechanics and engagement triggers
- Re-engagement loops (notifications, prompts, scarcity)
- Conversion to paid
- Design funnels that improve LTV and payback
- Retention, churn reduction, and win-back flows
- You are expected to know where every drop-off lives.
- Experimentation & Growth Velocity
- You will:
- Maintain a prioritized growth experiment backlog
- Run continuous A/B tests across onboarding, pricing, and UX
- Test influencer-specific monetization strategies
- Kill underperforming ideas quickly
- Scale winners aggressively
- K-Factor Optimization
- Speed and learning rate matter more than perfection.
- Feature Ownership & Rollout (Engineering)
- You own feature execution end-to-end:
- Write clear PRDs tied to growth and revenue outcomes
- Prioritize engineering work based on expected impact
- Partner with engineering to ship experiments quickly
- Own rollout plans, gating, and ramp strategies
- Monitor post-launch performance and iterate fast
- You ship, measure, and refine. No throw-it-over-the-wall handoffs.
- Reporting, Dashboards & GM Updates
- You will:
- Build and maintain clear growth dashboards
- Report weekly to the NGL GM on:
- Revenue performance
- Funnel metrics
- Experiment results
- Key risks and opportunities
- Provide data-backed recommendations for roadmap and spend decisions
- The GM should never be surprised by the numbers
Success in This Role Means

What You Bring to the Team
- 5–8+ years of experience in Growth Product, Monetization, or Lifecycle Product roles within consumer mobile apps, with clear ownership of revenue and growth outcomes
- Direct ownership of core metrics such as ARPDAU, ARPU, LTV, conversion rate, retention, and payback
- Experience scaling subscription and hybrid monetization models, including subscriptions and one-time purchases
- Experience owning pricing strategy, paywalls, onboarding optimization, and revenue performance by cohort
- Strong data fluency, including cohort analysis, funnel diagnostics, and payback modeling
- Proven track record running high-velocity A/B testing and maintaining a structured experimentation backlog
- Demonstrated success improving acquisition, activation, monetization, and retention through measurable experimentation
- Experience partnering closely with Engineering to ship growth and monetization features end-to-end
- Experience working cross-functionally with UA, Monetization, Design, and Data teams
- Comfort operating as the accountable owner of revenue impact
- A systems mindset that prioritizes measurable outcomes over feature output
- Ability to move quickly, make decisions with imperfect information, and balance aggressive growth optimization with protecting product integrity and viral mechanics
- Experience in creator-driven or social products preferred
- Experience optimizing K-Factor and viral loops preferred
- Experience working with Snap, Instagram, or TikTok acquisition funnels preferred
