Position: Sr Product Engineer

Sr Product Engineer acts as primary product expert from Assembly to Final Test. Handles a small group Product Engineers and guides the team on achieving the goals and task assigned to the team.

Majority of the tasks and responsibilities is to support ATCB objectives on Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

The position helps to ensure that the overall performance of the products that go to customers meets the product specifications and requirements.

 

 

This is your new job:

 

Engineering technical resource in terms of ATCB Test Product Engineering.

  • Analyzes final test performance (yield, OCAPs) for effective identification of developing defect trends or potential quality issues to drive fab & assembly improvements.
    Escalates to BG any critical or chronic fab issues that significantly impact Test hold lots and Test yields.
    Escalates to MEEQ/ Process engineering the identified special cases or increase in trend of any assembly-related defects  

  • Drives streamlined process and over-all yield improvement of assigned Package platform
    A key reviewer and approver on New Package/Materials/Process and changes introduced within the lifecycle of the package

  • Implements effective statistical methods at Test (PAT, SYL, SBL) to identify and detect maverick lots
    Drives Test Hold lots reduction and TPT improvement

  • Provides disposition and/or aligns with BG Product engineering on identified lots with Test-detected FAB and parametric issues.

  • Continuous enhancement of Product Risk Assessment & Escalation Tools.

  • Represents Product engineering in project or product qualification, change qualification in FAB / Assembly / Test Process.
    Supports change management through test data analysis of evaluation, qualification and safe launch lots to help ensure that any changes does not compromise the product electrical performance

  • Represents Product Engineering in cross-functional meetings like MEEQ, MCT, MOOI, LOH, Operations Review, Quality reviews, and Business Group reviews.

  • Leads Product Quality initiative programs and may represent ATCB in AT site standardization projects related to Product Engineering matters

  • Supervises and trains Test Product engineers & technicians.

 

 

This is you:

 

- The successful candidate should have previous work experience in a semiconductor company as Product Engineer, Test Engineer or as Test Product Engineer for a minimum of 3 to 5 years.

- Must be a graduate of Electronics Engineering course or equivalent.

- The candidate should possess the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

Hard Skills:

  • PowerMOS product knowledge

  • Basic knowledge on FAB, Assembly and Test processes

  • Knowledge in Testing methodology is a must.

  • Tester (Software) knowledge; Test program generation

  • Strong Data Analytics discipline is a must with background on the following analytical/statistical tools; Spotfire, Power BI, Exensio, Statistica, JMP, MiniTab, etc...

  • Basic scripting (Python, R script, SQL)

  • Project Management

Soft Skills:

  • Good with collaborations within cross functional teams and a team player.

  • Strong in communication skills on both speaking and presentation.

  • Critical Thinker, adaptable and flexible

  • Strong leadership and management skills, experience in handling people is an advantage.
