The Senior Procurement Buyer supports QVC Group and under the guidance of their manager help prepare category strategies and conducting price negotiations with suppliers, using Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other tools for assigned categories in support of all of the QVC Group businesses. This position will review the current supply base for assigned categories and develop new supply sources where current vendors are not meeting expectations. The Sr. Buyer is responsible for monitoring all key indicators related to assigned categories, reviewing spend and industry trends at all times to ensure appropriate category strategies are in place.

What You'll Do

• Manage acquisition process (sourcing, developing, and negotiating) for critical, complex categories ensuring competitive pricing, compliance with policies, limiting risk, and driving Total Procurement Value.
• Partner with Senior Level Stakeholders to develop and execute sourcing and contract strategies, ensuring all contracted obligations are being met within acceptable standards.
• Work with Manager – Service Procurement and Strategic Sourcing Team to review category spend to develop strategies for optimizing sourcing and negotiation results.
• Research and evaluate current suppliers and develop new suppliers based on quality, service, support, reliability, price, innovation, and value-added capabilities, as well as the supplier's reputation and history. Must also drive Supplier Enabled Innovation from larger, more strategic suppliers.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key business partners across QVCG with the support of the Manager – Service Procurement.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelors degree in related field
• 3+ years of work experience in indirect procurement/strategic sourcing
