ROLE PURPOSE
The Process Engineer will lead projects to optimize production process optimization (capacity, quality and cost) through technology innovation, improvements on existing processes and knowledge sharing across the sites. This role requires ability to lead process activities in capital projects and small mechanical installations including contractors’ activities management.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop new processes and improve existing ones. Support production team to evaluate efficiency on existing process, bottlenecking and process deviation.
Manage process discipline according to engineering best practices (Mass balance, P&IDs, equipment data sheet, process description, etc.) Ensure properly update on internal documents.
Elaborate schedule and spending curve to new projects.
Ensure that change management are part of the project (MOC).
When leading multidisciplinary projects, ensure that all disciplines are covered and properly aligned. Coordinate internal and external engineering resources.
Ensure that new projects and/or modifications on existing processes are properly evaluated considering environmental, safety and health, process safety, cGMP, food safety and quality impact by process hazards analysis (HAZOPs, What If).
Occasionally lead mechanical and electrical activities when implementing smaller projects on the site.
Responsible by procedures, training and startups when leading projects.
Carry out the work in accordance with internally approved policies, procedures, work instructions, respecting and applying the cGMP requirements and the health, safety, environment and sustainability standards adopted by the company.
Responsibility and autonomy to report issues related to cGMP to the managing director and the quality department.

Perform, maintain and improve the EHSQS standards and requirements
Participating actively in the Company’s EHSQS program including training, audit, etc.
Report near miss or unsafe act
COMPETENCIES
Align CAPEX spending and prioritization with engineering mgr.
Leadership attitude promoting good communication between engineering team and other departments.
Align projects prioritization between department’s requests with engineering mgr.
Work as Team is a key qualification in this role.

QUALIFICATIONS
· University Degree or high in Mechanical Engineering.
· Certificate on Project Management (not mandatory)
· Fluent in English
EXPERIENCE
· Minimum 10 years’ experience as process engineer, production engineer or similar.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
Strong knowledge in Unity Operations.
Some knowledge in process hazardous analysis tools.
Familiar with Auto CAD and electrical and automation.
PI software, MS Project, SAP can be a differential.
Safety-first mindset and learning agility (including EHSQS and other concepts which may evolve through time).
