Job Description:
- You will analyze technical data and reports to determine spare and support equipment provisioning requirements.
- You will Review site survey results and letters of offer and acceptance and formulate specific recommendations for spare/repair parts and support equipment.
- Manages and controls the asset position of customer inventories, originate support plans for offer to potential customers and provide technical assistance to existing customer personnel.
- You will forecast and manage budget system.
- You will function as a subject matter expert to support technical data certification/verification activities.
- You will perform research, analysis, and interface with engineering teams to expand relevant systems knowledge, review technical data readiness for certification events, and assist with capturing user comments/changes for incorporation.
- You are expected to augment the technical writing team as needed.
- You may also be required to attend daily/weekly meetings to determine technical data certification schedules versus testing/maintenance schedules.
- You must have the ability to collaborate in a team environment and/or work alone with minimal supervision.
- You will need to have the ability to change physical locations based upon need (including physical ability to travel).
- You need to be able to work in both external and internal environmental conditions.
You will work alongside U.S. Government and contractor personnel at Beale AFB, CA and Palmdale, CA. This position will be based at Beale AFB, CA. Must be available and able to work any shift. Telework is not available for this position.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelors with 8 Years; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD in Supply Chain Logistics or similar experience
- Must have an understanding and experience in all facets of aircraft and support equipment operations.
- Must have an active in-scope DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access per business needs
- Must be willing to work on call, 24/7 365 days to include holidays and weekends.
- Familiar with Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs)
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 12 years of flight line aircraft maintenance experience (crew chief, fuels, propulsion, or hydraulics experience preferred)
- Familiar with process development and implementation.
- Experience in utilizing the USAF Maintenance Manual change process.
- Familiar with technical data certification/verification processes.
- Ability to understand system description documents.
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Primary Level Salary Range: $102,000.00 - $153,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
