We are proud to be a member of the Rentokil family of companies, the global leader in Pest Control and other services across more than 90 countries. We pride ourselves on being a trusted partner to many of the world's leading brands and serve consumer and business customers across multiple industries. We are extremely proud of our legacy of excellence and constantly work to fulfill our mission to "protect people, enhance lives, and preserve the planet."
We are seeking a Sr. Pricing Analyst to drive the analytical strategy behind new customer acquisition for our Residential pest control business. This role is instrumental in optimizing our introductory pricing structures, promotional effectiveness, and sales channel performance (Digital, Field Sales, Call Center). The ideal candidate combines strong technical data mining skills (SQL) with a financial mindset focused on maximizing acquisition volume while balancing Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Payback Period.
Duties & Responsibilities
Acquisition Strategy Execution: Maintain and refine pricing models specifically for Residential new customer acquisition. Evaluate the profitability of introductory offers, discounts, and "first-service" pricing across different geographies.
Offer Testing & Optimization: Design and measure A/B tests for promotional offers. Analyze "take rates" and conversion elasticity to determine the optimal price points that maximize volume without eroding margin.
Strategic Segmentation: Build multi-variable segmentation models to isolate the drivers of margin mix. Use these findings to design pricing guardrails that bridge the gap between marketing/sales targets and operational reality.
Data Mining & LTV Modeling: Utilize advanced SQL to extract granular transactional data. Model the downstream impact of acquisition offers on long-term value (LTV) and churn to ensure we are acquiring profitable customers, not just volume.
Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards to monitor and report performance, providing real-time visibility into acquisition trends, sales velocity, and margin mix.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Residential Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Finance to ensure acquisition pricing tools are competitive and operationally sound.
Support Automation: Leverage Python, R, or Alteryx to automate the tracking of campaign performance, replacing manual Excel trackers with scalable, automated reporting.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related technical field required.
Experience
3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
Proven experience in a B2C / Residential recurring revenue environment (e.g., Home Services, Telecom, Security, Insurance).
Deep understanding of Acquisition Economics: Experience analyzing customer acquisition funnels, CAC,
promotional ROI, and sales commission structures is highly preferred.
Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests to validate pricing hypotheses (e.g., measuring the elasticity of a $10 price increase on conversion rates).
Demonstrated success in analyzing large datasets and translating them into business recommendations.
Skills & Competencies
Strong Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval and manipulation.
Experience with business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau to design interactive reports and operationalize insights.
Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling) are essential.
Solid understanding of financial metrics (Gross Margin, Lifetime Value, Churn, etc.) and competitive benchmarking.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
Builder Mindset: You do not wait for "clean" datasets to drive strategy; instead, you build the logic, proxies, and triangulation methods needed to extract directionally correct insights from messy sources.
Familiarity with Python, R, or Alteryx for advanced automation is considered a plus, but not a requirement
