As a Sr. Plant Floor Systems Engineer, you will lead MES system support and project execution within your shop. You’ll also lead a team of support engineers to ensure system uptime, resolve technical issues, and drive manufacturing digitization initiatives.

You Will

Ensure MES system uptime across all shifts and coordinate support coverage.
Lead support engineers, assign tasks, and drive issue resolution.
Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams for system feedback.
Manage spare parts inventory, backups, and 6S compliance.
Evaluate change requests and conduct user acceptance testing.
Support MES installation, validation, and remote support automation.
Execute MES-related pråojects and coordinate hardware setup and testing.
Analyze machine/process data and develop optimized digital solutions.
Maintain project tracking and collaborate with vendors and internal teams.

You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
5+ years of experience in MES systems and manufacturing support.
3+ years in plant operations and IT applications; 2+ years in a leadership role.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience with MES, ICS, IIoT, PLCs, SCADA, and OT protocols.
Programming skills in SQL, Python, Java, C#, and Visual Basic.
Familiarity with sensors, actuators, robots, AGVs, and manufacturing hardware.
Understanding of manufacturing KPIs (OEE, uptime, throughput, etc.).
Proficiency in documentation tools like Smartsheet, Visio, and MS Project.
