Job Summary

The Senior Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Engineering, Procurement, and Production Operations by applying broad functional expertise and a strong understanding of U.S. Government asset management protocols. This job is located in Clearwater, FL and is 100% onsite.

This role is responsible for maintaining government-approved business systems to ensure compliance with federal regulations (specifically FAR 45 and 52.245-1), customer requirements, and internal aerospace policies. Operating with minimal supervision, the Senior Operations Coordinator supports daily activities related to Government Property Management across the 10 recognized outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Leader: Will lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects, ensuring successful execution of tasks, alignment with strategic objectives, and timely achievement of milestones.
  • Data-Driven Performance Leadership: Champion SAP utilization for WBS setup and reporting, leveraging analytics to deliver accurate insights and enable informed decision-making.
  • Compliance & Risk Governance: Lead proactive compliance strategies, implement corrective action plans, and drive audit readiness to safeguard integrity across all contract and asset processes.
  • Talent Development & Mentorship: Inspire and guide program offices and emerging professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
  • Continuous Improvement Advocate: Drive transformative initiatives through Six Sigma, RCCA, Gemba walks, and Kaizen, embedding innovation and problem-solving into organizational DNA.
  • Contractual Excellence: Interpret and execute complex contract requirements and SOWs, aligning outcomes with strategic objectives and performance metrics.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Build strong cross-functional partnerships with custodians, Program Managers, Contracts, and Material Management teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Operational Accountability: Support Tier accountability boards and escalation frameworks, ensuring transparency, timely resolution, and measurable performance improvements.
  • Change Leadership: Influence process enhancements across multiple stakeholder groups, ensuring compliance and operational agility in dynamic environments.
  •  Expertise in Government Property Management: Demonstrate mastery of FAR 52.245-1 and the 10 Government Property Management Outcomes, positioning the organization for sustained compliance and success.

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; a high school diploma and 3+ additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Prior experience with government property management and familiarity with standard industry concepts.
  • Experience with PIEE (Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SAP and working knowledge of property systems such as eQUIP, AssetSmart, or equivalent.
