Job Description:

TTI Floor Care NA is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager to lead distribution operations, including receipt, storage, order fulfillment, and outbound activities. This role oversees one or more major functional areas and ensures operational efficiency, accuracy, safety, and team performance. Key Responsibilities

Operations

  • Lead all inbound and outbound distribution activities.
  • Allocate labor and resources to maximize efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • Ensure clear communication of operational goals and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (manufacturing, sourcing, customer service, HR, etc.) and external partners to achieve business objectives.
  • Hold teams accountable to established procedures and performance expectations.
  • Support performance management, coaching, training, safety, and compliance.
  • Contribute to reducing employee turnover and developing process‑improvement plans.
  • Identify issues proactively and drive effective solutions.

Finance

  • Assist in managing expenses and controlling labor costs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll, attendance, and recordkeeping.
  • Maintain compliance with financial and inventory‑control policies.
  • Understand the financial impact of operational decisions.
  • Manage labor utilization to meet productivity goals while minimizing overtime.

Safety

  • Ensure daily operations align with facility safety standards.
  • Monitor equipment use, enforce safety policies, and conduct required meetings and training.
  • Maintain equipment and facility housekeeping to company standards.
  • Provide safety feedback, communications, and corrective guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company safety requirements.

People Leadership

  • Lead teams effectively through change.
  • Foster positive morale and maintain a supportive work environment.
  • Ensure employees have the tools and resources needed to succeed.
  • Recognize individual and team achievements.
  • Develop talent for future roles and advancement.

Working Environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2–5 years’ experience in a distribution environment (SAP/WMS/Oracle experience preferred).
  • 2–5 years supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Professional presence and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work various shifts.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and perform moderate physical activity, including walking, standing, bending, and stooping.
