As a Senior Medical Science Liaison in Immunology, you will be the scientific bridge between external experts and our internal teams, shaping how our science is understood and applied in real-world practice. Your work will connect insights from the field to strategy, influencing how we invest, educate, and support evidence-based change across the product lifecycle.

You will plan and deliver high-impact scientific engagements, guide discussions on clinical evidence and study opportunities, and help align cross-functional colleagues around a clear, patient-focused medical strategy. Accountabilities:
- External Expert Engagement: Identify, assess, and cultivate scientific relationships with Key External Experts and emerging leaders in immunology, building long-term partnerships that guide evidence generation and medical strategy.
- Scientific Exchange and Education: Plan, organize, and execute field engagements focused on rigorous scientific content to inform, update, and challenge healthcare professionals on the latest data and treatment trends.
- Scientific Events: Prospect, design, and deliver MSL-led scientific events with opinion leaders and healthcare professionals, ensuring clear learning outcomes and measurable impact on clinical thinking.
- Lectures and Workshops: Deliver lectures at scientific events in line with the field medical communication strategy, working under appropriate scientific oversight to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Evidence Generation Partnerships: Discuss and support investigator-initiated proposals (ESR/local studies) and scientific publications that align with priority evidence needs, facilitating quality submissions and follow-through.
- Clinical Study Support: Contribute to local and global clinical study initiatives within the therapy area, enabling efficient site engagement, issue resolution, and insight capture.
- Advisory Forums: Participate in expert panels and advisory boards, translating insights into meaningful recommendations for internal stakeholders.
- Payer Engagement: Engage scientifically with payer stakeholders in alignment with therapy area strategy and key account plans using the OneKAM concept, working under appropriate supervision to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Medical Project Leadership: Lead and coordinate assigned medical projects to deliver against the medical plan, tracking milestones and outcomes that inform broader strategy.
- Insight Generation and Congress Reporting: Prepare concise congress summaries and highlights for internal sharing, connecting new data and trends to our strategic priorities.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Experience identifying, evaluating, and scientifically engaging Key External Experts and future KEEs aligned to a therapy area medical strategy.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute field activities focused on high-quality scientific content and discussion with healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated capability to share and discuss clinical study information relevant to stakeholders’ practice and treatment trends.
- Track record of prospecting, organizing, and conducting MSL-led scientific events with opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
- Experience delivering lectures at scientific events in line with a defined field medical communication strategy under scientific supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to discuss and support investigator-initiated study proposals (ESR/local) and/or publications of interest.
- Contribution to local or global clinical studies within a therapy area.
- Participation in expert panels and advisory boards with actionable insight capture.
- Experience conducting scientific engagements with payers aligned to therapy area strategy and key account plans using the OneKAM concept, under appropriate oversight.
- Ability to lead and coordinate designated medical projects in line with the medical plan.
- Experience preparing and disseminating congress summaries and highlights for internal stakeholders.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, or MSc) in immunology or a related life science.
- Deep knowledge of immunology disease areas and evolving standards of care.
- Experience in rheumatology / Lupus is a plus.
- Experience translating clinical and real-world evidence into payer-relevant scientific narratives.
- Familiarity with matrix ways of working and the OneKAM model in complex healthcare systems.
- Record of scientific presentations and/or publications.
- Experience supporting product launches and pre-launch scientific engagement.
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English; willingness to travel within the assigned region.
