Micron in Taiwan is seeking a Senior Manager for the TCP (Taiwan Central Probe) Operation Equipment. Join us to guide a group of engineers and advance the frontiers of technology in semiconductor manufacturing. Ensure seamless equipment performance and automation to meet our business goals accurately.

You will hold a key position in influencing our manufacturing operations. This unique opportunity allows you to develop a team of individuals, promoting the recognition of OMT as a center of excellence in wafer probing. Your responsibilities will include people growth, production systems, and innovative equipment management, all meaningful for fulfilling our aggressive adventurous aims!

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Optimize line efficiency through strategic tool relocations, team training, and qualification processes without impacting production.
  • Support operations in functional probe testing, test program management, equipment selection, installation, maintenance, and control.
  • Lead quality improvements, cost control, and production efficiency initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain Micron’s quality policies, ISO standards, and Quality Management System within your team.
  • Coordinate with the Quality team to analyze and build test programs aimed at maintaining product quality and reliability.
  • Establish weekly projection plans and step goals to meet production targets.
  • Supervise WTD (Week To Date) performance to control variances and support business planning.
  • Coordinate with IE and ENG teams to build and handle capacity models.
  • Ensure a safe, compliance, and ethical work environment.
  • Partner with the Equipment team to cultivate continuous advancements in TCP Probe equipment performance.
  • Develop and successfully conduct action plans to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Partner with PIE and SIC teams to ensure readiness for new technology nodes and new part types.
  • Coordinate tool qualification, release, installation requirements, and maintenance priorities for Probe area tools, ensuring outstanding execution.
  • Champion collaboration across departments to meet Fab needs and cultivate strong peer relationships.
  • Develop and be responsible for interpersonal resource plans, training plans, and business processes to achieve Business Plan objectives effectively.

Benchmark Management

  • Develop shift production plans to meet HVM, ENG, and output requirements, supporting company revenue.
  • Supervise and manage production line inventories to meet important metrics.
  • Analyze manufacturing resources and drive maximum output.
  • Schedule production shifts and prioritize orders to optimize labor resources.
  • Manage and maintain high tool MA, improving tool performance and recipes for maximum output.

Manufacturing and Equipment Performance Process and System Improvement

  • Identify and implement improvements in manufacturing processes and equipment efficiency.
  • Design and develop execution systems to enhance work efficiency.
  • Apply exceptional analytical skills and tools like Excel, Tableau, and Access for process optimization.

Team Management and People Development

  • Partner with multi-functional teams and collaborators to develop continuous improvement strategies.
  • Guide teams and individuals to recognize and apply opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain an effective organization focused on continuous process improvement.
  • Align department goals with company objectives and provide strategic input.
  • Conduct performance appraisals, set goals, and create development plans for team members.
  • Monitor performance metrics to ensure compliance and drive continual improvement.
  • Develop strong communication to resolve problems with cross-department and supplier collaboration.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience

Experience

  • Demonstrated ability in the semiconductor industry, especially in manufacturing and wafer probing production.
