With dynamic customer needs and healthcare landscape, it is imperative for CVS Pharmacy to assess, refresh and evolve its business strategy continuously to own the marketplace and best meet our patient's healthcare needs. You and the broader team play an instrumental role in incubating and executing new innovative sources of growth, and ultimately crafting and evolving CVS Retail Pharmacy strategy.

You will be:

A key analytics business partner to Retail Pharmacy Strategy & Product Development, Payer Analytics, and other retail pharmacy teams:

  • Develop collaborative relationships with internal and external customers, coordinating and communicating project activities, engaging customers in project decision making.
  • Manage team portfolio; provide updates on in-progress, estimated time of completion as well as documenting business impact and prioritizing pipeline.
  • Assess customer needs, present to customers, define project resource needs and develop timelines.

Leader of a team of 2 analysts with specializations in:

  • Delivering a range of ad hoc analytic deliverables that are both complex and critical in support of various retail pharmacy initiatives using SQL, Python, Foundry, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Developing a deep understanding of CVS pharmacy internal and external data and utilizing advanced analytic tools (e.g., Snowflake, Palantir Foundry) to perform analyses
  • Incubating new ideas through sizing and evaluating new opportunities for growth (new products, services, initiatives, etc.)
  • Designing and executing well thought-out analyses to answer ambiguously articulated questions
  • Developing recurring business critical analysis / reporting and recommend when to automate vs continue ad hoc support
  • Developing executive materials in PowerPoint that leverage data to build a compelling narrative, telling a story to inform & influence the intended audiences

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of business analytics, data science, or relevant experience
  • 5+ years of strong analytic and data mining (SQL, Python) skills and ability to use data & analytics to uncover root causes and drive decision-making
  • 5+ years of Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong project management skills and ability to influence partners and executives
  • Consulting experience
  • Direct colleague management experience
  • Master’s degree

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
