Position Overview
The Senior Manager of Communications is responsible for producing robust and contemporary communications with great attention to detail and a lot of enthusiasm. In this capacity, the Senior Manager directs communications efforts to ensure the Company's messages are aligned and delivered in accordance with Communications strategic goals. The Senior Manager is also responsible for helping develop and execute the Human Resources (HR) communications strategy involving multiple channels and forums that drive a clear understanding of C&S's strategic priorities, while driving and supporting its culture.

- Lead the communications strategy for HR programs and initiatives that includes the delivery of on-brand content and messaging for employees through a variety of mediums and channels.
- Develop and implement communications plans in support of corporate-wide initiatives and Human Resources (HR) functional objectives, including Total Rewards, Talent Development, etc. that drives internal knowledge of managers / HRBPs in support of employees.
- Proactively lead and execute HR communications projects and campaigns that align with and support C&S's business goals and values as well as continue to influence a positive culture and engaged workforce.
- Manage the overall strategic editorial calendar to aid in strategic communications planning.
- Lead and execute the social media strategy to drive engagement and increase followers; collaborate with creative team to develop photography for social media; amplify a consistent brand and channel voice.
- Support and ensure consistency with external messaging and strategy, including matters affecting company reputation and crisis response.
- Manage vendors and consultants against contractual obligations.

Skills
- Specialized Knowledge : Excellent technical and writing skills; proficient in AP style. Ability to synthesize complex subject matter, translating technical subjects into relatable storylines.
- Special Skills : Strong communication skills. Executive presence with an ability to work effectively and collaboratively within complex organizations. Ability to prioritize and manage simultaneously longer-term strategic assignments and immediate needs to produce high-quality results in a timely manner. Critical and creative thinker. Apply intellectual curiosity to all aspects of the role. Excellent leadership and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team.

Years Of Experience
- 10-15 : A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated successful communications experience. Experience developing and writing multi-channel content including social media; digital content strategy, management and storytelling.
