Meet the team:

Our Medical Affairs team plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of diabetes management through cutting-edge continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology. As a Medical Affairs Advisor, you’ll be at the forefront of scientific engagement, working closely with top Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and cross-functional teams to drive medical excellence.

Where you come in:

As a Medical Affairs Advisor at Dexcom, you will:

  • Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to build and maintain strong scientific relationships, ensuring Dexcom’s CGM technology is well-integrated into clinical practice.
  • Deliver impactful medical education to healthcare professionals, providing scientific insights.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, marketing, access and clinical teams to align medical strategies with business objectives.
  • Support clinical and real-world evidence generation, contributing to scientific publications, presentations, and data dissemination.
  • Respond to medical inquiries with evidence-based information, ensuring healthcare providers and internal teams have accurate, up-to-date knowledge.
  • Represent Dexcom at conferences and medical events, sharing expertise and gathering insights to shape future strategies.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, staying ahead of industry trends and providing strategic insights to internal teams.

What makes you successful:

  • You are a highly effective communicator, able to engage with healthcare professionals, KOLs, and internal teams with confidence and credibility.
  • You have a strong scientific mindset, with the ability to interpret and translate complex clinical data into meaningful insights.
  • You bring established relationships with KOLs, leveraging your network to enhance medical engagement and awareness of Dexcom’s CGM technology.
  • Your experience in Medical Affairs equips you with the skills to provide scientific support, lead discussions, and contribute to strategic initiatives.
  • Your knowledge of diabetes and CGM technology is a strong advantage, though not mandatory.

  • 25 to 50%

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 – 8 years of related experience.
  • Ideally you have a physician or pharmacist’s degree
