Role Purpose

The Sr Manager, Workflow Technologist is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing marketing workflows using MarTech platforms—primarily Adobe Workfront—to drive operational excellence, speed, and transparency across both anthemic (long-term, high-impact) and deaveraged (agile, market-specific) content streams. This role is a key enabler of tech-augmented ways of working, ensuring seamless intake, prioritization, approvals, and reporting, and supporting the transformation to an AI-powered, data-driven marketing organization. The Sr Manager will partner closely with marketing, creative, and commercial teams to orchestrate dynamic workflows that support both scale and local relevance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and maintain end-to-end marketing workflows in Adobe Workfront, supporting both anthemic and deaveraged content streams.
  • Automate intake, prioritization, approvals, and reporting processes using Workfront and integrated MarTech/AI tools.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for workflow best practices, templates, and process governance.
  • Ensure workflows are optimized for speed, transparency, and resource allocation, including packaging and POS approvals.
  • Ensure decisions, key information, and milestones are documented within Workfront by the project team.
  • Partner with marketing stakeholders to manage timelines, mitigate risks, and remove roadblocks.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for process improvement and workflow automation; partner with business owners to drive adoption of new MarTech solutions.
  • Champion change management, training, and onboarding for new workflow processes and tools.
  • Drive adoption of tech-augmented ways of working, including AI agents and automation, to reduce manual work and enable real-time personalization at scale.
  • Build and manage dashboards and reports to monitor workflow performance, data integrity, and operational KPIs.
  • Ensure data governance, taxonomy, and naming conventions are maintained within Workfront and related systems.
  • Collaborate with analytics and data teams to connect workflow data to business outcomes.
  • Act as a liaison between marketing, creative, commercial, and IT teams to ensure workflow alignment and integration.
  • Provide training and support to end users, driving adoption and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, workflow management, or campaign/program management, preferably in a large, matrixed organization.
  • Proven expertise in MarTech platforms, especially Adobe Workfront; experience with workflow automation and AI/agentic tools is a plus.
  • Experience driving technology adoption and process change in a marketing environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with digital asset management (DAM) tools creative or media agency operations, or Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered workflow automation and personalization at scale.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and create structure from complexity.
  • Strategic and operational mindset; able to think through both big-picture challenges and ground-level execution.

Pay Range:

$139,600 - $157,900

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
