About the job

This position is needed to manage and oversee the North America Sales Business Partners, and will directly support the NAMER Regional Sales Leader as the Sales Business Partner.  This player/coach role will combine team management with regional support for sales forecasting, pipeline management, strategic initiatives, and process improvement. Executive presence and communication will be key In this role, as you will be instrumental in ensuring alignment between your regional Sales BPs, and within the larger STM SOE team. The role will report into the Sr Director Global Sales Business Partners.  Being a team player with transparent and proactive communication will be key, as you focus on fostering collaboration across teams, and driving operational excellence that accelerates growth and delivers measurable results. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Manage the performance of the NAMER sales region team, which consists of vertical-oriented Sales Business Partners for a $2.5B revenue business unit. 
  • Conduct team 1:1 meetings to set and evaluate performance goals, and work with the Sr Director to improve team communication and collaboration.
  • Manage the GTM operating rhythms for NAMER, including preparing and running forecast calls with the regional leadership team, pipeline health and management, QBRs, sales performance, etc.
  • Proactively gather and aggregate sales health indicators and performance dashboards from your team, and prepare regional-level analysis.  Know how to separate signal from noise, and drive down into the real metrics that matter. 
  • Leverage data to develop insightful discussion documents for quarterly business reviews. 
  • Manage sales forecasting, pipeline hygiene, monitoring sales activity and resolving risks/key blockers. 
  • Plan cycles and focus specifically on territory carving, analyzing account-level targets, validating and aligning on region-level targets.  
  • Develop in-region GTM strategies to drive revenue growth. 
  • Pull ad-hoc reports to help address business needs and drive insights with your regional GTM partners. 
  • Establish clear roles and responsibilities with your GTM Strategy & Operations peers to provide fast and efficient support to revenue generation teams.

*Required:

  • 8+ years experience in sales operations, business operations, and strategy consulting in SaaS. 
  • Experience managing direct reports and setting team operating processes and OKRs
  • Experience developing and running sales operating rhythms such as forecasting, MBRs, and QBRs
  • Completed at minimum 3-5 cycles in annual planning 
  • Experience in analytical processing, problem-solving, synthesizing ideas, and written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting data & insights to a sophisticated audience with the ability to clearly define the problem. 
  • Strong collaboration and partner management skills - building deep, trust-based relationships with cross functional teams.
  • Resilient and adaptive.  
  • Bachelor’s Degree.

Desired:

  • Experience in the CpaaS industry. 
  • Experience with Salesforce, spreadsheets and Tableau. 

Location

  1. This role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA.

Travel

Compensation

*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Washington State. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. : $155,520.00 - $194,400.00.
  • Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $164,640.00 - $205,800.00.
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $182,960.00 - $228,700.00.
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
