Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Sr Manager, Repair Ops Support to provide direction, support, and leadership for all Repair field operations within the Canada and US region.

On a typical day you will:

  • Oversee billable repair operations for the Canada and US region

  • Manage Repair Operations Support Associates

  • Oversee and ensure an efficient SIP process and SmartSheet accuracy

  • Work on potential marketing opportunities with the different branches and AHJ

  • Improve the standard job costs list for the branches

  • Support the field upgrade program

  • Oversee, review and ensure quality of the supply chain

  • Lead Audits process and quality of sales & reporting

  • Support the operations to grow our backlog

  • Drive efficiency and timely financial job closeouts

Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant technical experience in elevator industry

What will help you be successful in this role:

  • Experience working with field level associates required

  • Leadership experience required

  • Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment

  • Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers

  • Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities

  • Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software

  • Strong leadership skills, goal-orientated, and self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years elevator industry experience or experience leading technicians in a similar industry preferred

  • Management experience a plus
