JOB OVERVIEW
Provide daily management, leadership and coaching to the Remarketing Group focused on all Auction processes in a continuous growing environment. This includes aligning physical and online auction sales of Wheels and client vehicles to increase market retention and maintain auction controls in line with Wheels goals and objective and the auction SLA’s. This role is responsible for managing the auctions sales for our clients and support our WDLP Merger.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Support the integration with WDLP to assure best practices and platforms are designed to create a Remarketing Omni experience for our clients.
- Build and maintain auction channel relationships and best practices through weekly contact.
- Manage and review weekly auction performances through monitoring lane placement for sales, Days to pick up, CR grades, Condition Reports, Days to receive funds, arbitrations, retention, license plate removal, recondition and de identification and other key metrics to assure cars are being sold at the best auctions.
- Collaborates with other Regional Sales Managers on best sales channels to remarket out client’s cars.
- Assures Auctions provide accurate and current marketing for Wheels vehicles
- Increase profit margins by utilizing the remarketing dashboards, BIR sales analysis reports, AutoIMS reports, auction and industry communication, market trends and best practices for pricing cars.
- Continuous process improvement and documentation of all processes to be kept current
- Achieve best possible retention through strategic assignments of vehicles to auction locations.
- Monthly quarterly meetings with Auctions to review Scorecards.
- Ensure that departmental processes are designed and implemented in a way to mitigate operational risk/losses.
- Responsible for monitoring inventory control working with entire Remarketing/Title team to reducing days to sell for terminated units.
- Work with the title department to ensure all auction titles are being processed in a timely manner to Auctions including courtesy sales.
- Demonstrate reliable and predictable attendance.
- Supports and enforces all company policies.
- Performs other related duties as required
- Manage and promote employees involved with Auction sales.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree required - sales management or operational management focus preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ customer service and/or business development experience.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
- Financial acumen - Forecasting and planning for annual plans and budgeting numbers for human resources and departmental costs.
- Minimum 5 years’ Industry and Auto Auction knowledge experience.
- Microsoft Excel

JOB SPECIFICATIONS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: This position is in Georgia or Illinois and operates in a professional office environment
Position Type/Standard Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
Travel: Minimal travel required for this position
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly talk and hear, and use hands and fingers to operate call center tools.

Pay Range:
$105,400-$147,500
The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan which is based on company performance and individual performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, education, certifications, skill level and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
