The Role: 

As Manager, Provider Network Operations, Global Clinical Operations, you will oversee the strategic growth of our provider networks and operations in the U.S. and Canada. In this role you will partner with operational, product, legal, and client-service teams to support department and company-wide growth and OKRs to manage our provider networks.  

 

Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Owns end to end operations and expansions for our provider networks in the US & Canada, including but not limited to fertility, pregnancy, doulas, menopause, and low-testosterone.
  • Deeply understand and elevate Carrot’s strategic positioning within the US & Canada healthcare and provider ecosystems across all of Carrot’s fertility and family-forming programs.
  • Define and deliver on KPIs related to provider network operations response including establishing goals, methodology on measurement/tracking, and execution.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of individual contributors. This includes capacity and resource planning alignment, budget allocation & management, and coaching and support of direct reports.
  • Continue to build and scale our provider networks including provider criteria, audits, database management, and ensure network operations are meeting internal goals.
  • Collaborate with other Global Clinical Operations team members and consultants, as well as with cross-functional partners across member and customer service teams to deliver on departmental and company-wide goals. 

The Team:

Global Clinical Operations leverages the country, regional and global expertise of our journeys to support efficient and compliant country expansion of our journeys, development of high-quality provider networks and partnerships, creation of evidence-based eligible journey reimbursement guides (BDGs), and implementation of clinical rigor and quality across every aspect of the Carrot experience and service delivery.

We develop localized playbooks, systems, and knowledge bases to keep teams informed on relevant areas of our global programs. We also provide direct support for our member-facing teams as they service our members around the world, and client-facing teams as they converse with current and prospective customers about our global offering and value proposition 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of professional experience in provider network operations, healthcare operations, or clinical operations.
  • 3+ years of people management experience.
  • Ability to manage and grow large scale networks including vetting and auditing processes
  • Experience building, developing, and leading operationally-focused teams
  • Strong organizational and program management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comfortability with coaching employees and providing feedback as needed
  • Experience in healthcare operations, provider programs, or networks/agencies
  • Comfortable with ambiguity in fluid, fast-paced situations
  • Incredible attention to detail and ability to context switch with ease
  • A supportive team player who loves to engage with others across cultural, functional and geographic lines.
  • Global awareness and cultural sensitivity with an interest in working in a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills. The ability to explain complex concepts in a simple way and provide high level summaries and drill downs to the details, when necessary.

 

Compensation:
