The Role

The Sr Manager, Procurement is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing global & regional procurement and category strategies, with a strong emphasis on software and technology-enabled services. This role serves as a commercial and category expert, partnering with the Director of Procurement and cross-functionally to deliver cost optimization, risk mitigation, innovation, and supplier performance excellence. The position leads end-to-end procurement activities, manages strategic supplier relationships, and drives continuous improvement aligned with corporate objectives, security, compliance, and sustainability goals.

Your Impact

  • Develop, drive, and execute global and regional procurement and category strategies aligned with business goals and market dynamics.
  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, RFx, supplier qualification, contracting, lifecycle management, and renewals.
  • Serve as the commercial and market expert for assigned categories, with emphasis on software, SaaS, and technology suppliers.
  • Conduct spend, market, and supplier analyses to anticipate trends, pricing shifts, and supply risks; recommend optimal supply base strategies.
  • Lead contract negotiations ensuring favorable commercial terms, risk mitigation, licensing compliance, and alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive supplier compliance with the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and other applicable regional and global regulations by embedding regulatory requirements into sourcing strategies, contracts, and supplier governance, and by monitoring adherence in partnership with Legal, Security, and Risk teams.
  • Establish and manage strategic supplier relationships, including performance management, QBRs, and innovation partnerships.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Technology, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, Security, Product, and Business stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs.
  • Drive cost savings, value creation, and process efficiency initiatives across the procurement lifecycle.
  • Track, analyze, and report procurement KPIs, savings, supplier performance, and strategic sourcing progress to senior leadership.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain, commercial, and compliance risks.
  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals; foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion change initiatives that enhance procurement agility, governance, and effectiveness.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field; graduate degree or professional certification (CPSM, CPM) preferred.
  • 8–10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain, preferably in software or technology environments.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing category and sourcing strategies at a global or enterprise level.
  • Strong contract negotiation expertise, particularly related to software, SaaS, licensing, and technology services.
  • Proven ability to influence senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Languages: English – Advanced/professional proficiency required; Multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Advanced analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Source-to-Pay systems, ERP platforms, Microsoft 365, and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
