How will we make an impact?

The Senior Manager, Materials Planning is responsible for managing the supply of raw materials for BCD through process development and compliance. They will ensure the master schedule and materials delivery plan are carried out. To do this, they will lead the creation and implementation of supply strategies, process improvements, and system enhancements needed to maintain clear visibility of incoming supply aligned with demand. This role will work with multiple departments to solve problems, inspire change, and achieve lasting results. They will also communicate directly with senior leadership on the overall material supply status.

What will we do?

  • Implement and maintain processes that monitor and ensure the chemical solvent and component raw material supply meets demand requirements.
  • Identify and address supply constraints in advance.
  • Build and complete strategies that maintain stable supply through inventory optimization.
  • Institute processes that ensure full use of the various systems covering planning and procurement. Introduce new tools and reporting mechanisms to monitor the supply and demand horizon.
  • As a subject matter expert, collaborate with and influence key partners in sourcing, planning, and production.
  • May engage directly with critical suppliers to resolve supply constraints while applying a tiered structure for blocking issues.
  • Must be agile in realigning roles and responsibilities of team members to meet the current business demands.

How will we get here?

Education

Minimum required education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or another related subject area in business management.

Experience

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain operations.
  • Proven capability in handling several tasks under strict time constraints.
  • Proven skill in collaborating effectively within an international company across various divisions.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels within the organization.
  • Committed, able to get results with intensity, demonstrating confidence, conviction, and collaboration to innovate new strategies and methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently, typically initiating own tasks with input/mentorship from manager.
  • Strong communicator, able to influence and resolve issues pragmatically.
  • Influential, charismatic, and data-driven, especially with decision makers and operational teams.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $130,000.00–$194,950.00.
