Summary of Role:

The Senior Manager of Executive and Employee Communications will lead strategic communications across multiple businesses and functions, as well as GlobalGives, GF’s community engagement program. This role will also drive select strategic initiatives including tech vitality, innovation and patenting. Reporting to the Senior Director of Executive and Employee Communications, the role partners with senior leaders to shape and deliver compelling messaging that supports business strategy, transformation and employee engagement. This role is Monday - Friday, with occasional additional hours, per the needs of global partnership /other business needs.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic internal communication plans for multiple businesses, ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and editorial calendars
  • Serve as a strategic communications partner to executive leaders across Finance & Operations, Customers & Markets, GF Labs and Inclusion & Engagement
  • Create compelling content including executive messaging, internal communications, and presentations tailored to diverse internal audiences
  • Support change management initiatives through integrated communications strategies and stakeholder engagement
  • Drive awareness and engagement around strategic initiatives such as tech vitality, innovation and patenting
  • Establish and maintain consistent communications cadences and channels across supported functions
  • Provide expert counsel to leaders on communication strategy and support capability building across teams
  • Lead communications and program management for GlobalGives, GlobalFoundries’ community engagement program, which since its inception which since its inception in 2016 has enabled GF and its employees to contribute over thousands of volunteer hours and tens of millions of dollars worldwide

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
  • Other duties as assigned by manager / supervisor
     

Required Qualifications:

  • Education – bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations or related field
  • Experience - 10+ years of experience in corporate and executive communications, including internal and external communications
  • 5+ years of experience supporting C-suite executives or business unit leaders
  • Experience managing strategic initiatives and communications campaigns
  • Experience supporting a variety of functions and organizations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint and OneDrive)
  • Travel – Up to 20%
  • Fluency in English Language – both written & verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a technical industry or sufficient technical background to incorporate technical messages fluently
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and influence senior executives with urgency and strategic counsel
  • Global perspective and sensitivity to audience differentiation
  • Strong executive presence and storytelling ability
  • Mastery of modern communications tools, and experience leveraging AI to increase efficiency and effectiveness of communications
  • Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills
  • High emotional intelligence and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working in a matrixed, fast-paced global organization

Expected Salary Range

$119,300.00 - $249,600.00
