ETI is seeking a highly organized and commercially minded Senior Manager, Merchandise Planning to support the development and execution of product assortment strategies across Europe. This role will be responsible for seasonal line planning, demand forecasting, and visual merchandising execution, ensuring that YETI’s retail environments deliver exceptional customer experience while meeting business goals. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in merchandising and planning, a keen eye for product presentation, and the ability to collaborate across teams to drive performance and consistency across the region. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Merchandising & Planning Execution 

  • Support the creation and execution of seasonal line plans and category assortments tailored to European markets. 

  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure product assortments align with consumer needs and brand positioning. 

  • Partner with demand planning and operations to ensure accurate forecasts, optimal inventory levels, and timely product availability. 

  • Monitor sell-through performance and make recommendations for SKU optimization, allocation adjustments, and pricing strategies. 

Visual Merchandising & Store Experience 

  • Implement visual merchandising plans and landing maps in partnership with category, marketing, and retail teams. 

  • Execute window presentations and in-store visual installations across new and existing retail locations. 

  • Ensure visual standards are consistently upheld across all stores, supporting brand presentation and customer experience. 

  • Travel to retail locations to support visual execution and ensure alignment with brand guidelines. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Work closely with marketing, finance, and retail operations to align merchandising and planning efforts with broader business objectives. 

  • Support the development of tools and guidebooks that communicate merchandising direction and visual standards to store teams. 

  • Collaborate with store teams to ensure product presentation and inventory levels support sales goals and customer satisfaction. 

Performance Monitoring & Reporting 

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to merchandising, planning, and visual execution. 

  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve category productivity and dollars per square foot. 

  • Assist in preparing business reviews and presentations for leadership and cross-functional partners. 

Qualifications & Attributes: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in merchandising, business, or related field. 

  • At least 8 years of experience in merchandising and planning, preferably in a multi-market retail environment. 

  • Strong understanding of retail operations, product lifecycle, and visual merchandising principles. 

  • Analytical mindset with experience in forecasting, inventory management, and performance reporting. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and functions. 

  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus. 

  • Willingness to travel across Europe to support retail execution. 

  • Must have the right to work in the Netherlands without sponsorship

  • Work a hybrid work schedule, 3 days in office, 2 days from home - Office located within Amsterdam Olympic Stadium
