SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

Within Integra’s Corporate Development department Integra has a Transition Management Office (“TMO”) who manage M&A integrations and divestitures.  Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Development Integration of this team, this position is responsible for supporting and playing a leadership role for large and complex integrations or divestitures or, at times, leading a mid-sized integration or divestiture project.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Support and Leadership Role in Large/Complex Integration or Divestiture Projects:

  • Provides management and leadership across many cross-functional teams within the project, providing integration knowledge and experience and project management to implement the integration or divestiture project.
  • Executes the implementation of the deal strategy based on due diligence materials, deal documents, financial models and management interviews.
  • Works as the TMO “point of contact” for functional departments which includes but is not limited to supporting function’s transition workplans and managing functional and cross-functional issue frameworking, management and resolution.
  • Supports the administration of the TMO for the integration/divestiture.  Such support may include but is not limited to Transition Service Agreement (“TSA”) governance, critical meeting quarterbacking and workshop management, RAID (Risks, Issues, Action Item, Decision) register management, communications management with counterparty, etc.
  • Communicates with internal partners as well as third party deal counterparty to influence and execute effective transition management service agreements as well as the timely and effective transition plans incorporating best practices.

Lead Mid-Sized Integrations/Divestitures:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Development Integration:

  • Working with the Executive Business Sponsor and Senior Director, Corporate Development Integration, develop the integration source of value, strategy, priority and goals to inform transition planning
  • Participate in the Due Diligence process to obtain key facts and information related to the counterparty to develop the scope and inform transition planning.
  • Form and lead a cross-functional team to develop integration project plans.
  • Utilizing team meetings and one-on-one meetings with functional teams, manage the integration project to keep milestones on track and address or escalate issues and risks
  • Regularly report progress, escalating issues if necessary, to Senior Director, Corporate Development Integration

General Transition Management Office Support: 

May include but not limited to:

  • Assist or lead integration/divestiture projects, such as special presentations
  • Support quarterly Executive Post Integration Updates

Perform all other related duties as required.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.

Education:       

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (MBA preferred but not required) 
  • Type and Number Years of Experience:             
  • 5-7 years M&A integration and divestiture experience
  • Project management experience and skillset
  • Biotech/medical device/pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus

Other

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint. MS Excel)
  • Strong focus on details, analysis and results including ability to work on complex issues with multiple dependencies and stakeholders to drive consensus
  • Excellent project management, multi-tasking and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
  • Limited travel may be required (Integra currently has limited, essential travel due to COVID restrictions)

Additional Information:
This is a hybrid role, and the ideal candidate will be based out of Princeton, NJ. The hybrid schedule requires in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

Salary Pay Range:

$125,350.00 - $172,500.00 USD Salary

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for bonus, commission, equity or other variable compensation.
