  • Lead a team and prioritize the product backlog, overseeing the development and deployment of new features, enhancements, and integrations across final‑mile systems
  • Drive market and user research initiatives, maintaining a deep understanding of final‑mile delivery operations, routing and capacity planning, carrier performance, delivery experience trends, automation/AI optimization, and customer needs to inform feature design and long-term strategy.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal business partners, delivery/transportation leaders, customer experience teams, and external clients, serving as the “voice of the customer” and championing user-centric design and innovation throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with software development, data, and infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into scalable, robust technology solutions that support last‑mile execution, delivery tracking, and real-time exception management.
  • Monitor and communicate progress to stakeholders, providing executive-level updates, risk assessments, and “Go To Green” plans for critical final‑mile product and implementation milestones.
  • Oversee final‑mile product release planning and platform upgrades, setting stakeholder expectations for delivery timelines, operational readiness, training, and change management initiatives.
  • Partner closely with delivery operations managers and senior leadership to maintain a prioritized, value-driven product backlog and to develop robust business cases for new final‑mile technology investments (routing optimization, delivery visibility, capacity, and customer communications).
  • Actively remove roadblocks and secure cross-functional support to accelerate delivery and adoption of final‑mile solutions across sites, markets, and partner networks.
  • Continually analyze delivery processes, gather operational requirements, and recommend enhancements that improve on-time performance, cost per stop, capacity utilization, driver productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the Sales and Account Management teams by presenting final‑mile capabilities and the delivery technology roadmap to current and prospective clients, differentiating our final‑mile solution in the marketplace.

Job Skills Required:

  • Highly analytical mindset with strong business acumen and expertise in delivery process optimization, routing/capacity planning, KPI design (on-time, cost per stop, NPS/CSAT), and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Deep knowledge of Agile processes and principles, and ability to instill Agile best practices in large, distributed teams.
  • Expertise in developing and interpreting customer delivery journeys, driver/dispatcher workflows, personas, and business process documentation for last‑mile operations.
