Sr. Manager, Internal & System Communications

US - GA - Atlanta Full time

Job Description Summary:

Join one of the world’s most iconic and visible brands and help shape how The Coca-Cola Company engages its employees and bottling system across its flagship North America Operating Unit. As Senior Manager, Internal & System Communications, you will play an integral role in delivering timely, engaging, and business-critical communications to employees in a fast-paced environment. Working as part of an Internal & System Communications team, this role partners closely with senior leaders, the People & Culture function, and cross-functional teams. Together the team strengthens employee and partner understanding of business priorities, culture, and values, while driving engagement through effective storytelling, channel management, and performance-driven communications.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner across the North America Operating Unit, including the People & culture function and senior leadership, to shape and deliver internal communications that support employee engagement and business priorities.
  • Develop and execute internal communications strategies and plans that strengthen understanding of the business, reinforce culture and values, and support change initiatives.
  • Lead editorial strategy and governance for key employee channels, including regular news platforms and the intranet, driving content prioritization, consistency, and performance optimization.
  • Support production of quarterly NAOU Town Halls and advise functional leaders on Town Hall planning and internal communications, including effective use of NAOU’s CommsHub on Connect.
  • Work directly with members of the NAOU extended leadership team to support business-critical and time-sensitive communications. Act as a trusted communications advisor, consulting with leaders and subject-matter experts on the most effective approaches to employee and system communications.
  • Manage the deployment of NAOU-wide email communications, ensuring clarity, consistency, and appropriate governance.
  • Drive employee engagement through content strategy, channel optimization, and performance-based communications planning. Ensure internal communications align with external narratives and reputational considerations where appropriate.
  • Partner with internal and external agencies and creative teams to deliver high-quality communications assets that meet brand and engagement standards.
  • Coordinate closely with global internal communications teams, operating unit partners, bottlers, PMO networks, and functional teams to ensure message consistency and strong system representation.
  • Own measurement and performance tracking for internal communications, maximizing data, insights, and innovation — including AI tools and Microsoft platforms — to continuously improve content effectiveness and engagement year over year.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in internal or corporate communications.
  • Strong creativity, writing, storytelling, and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging employee communications.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and stakeholders to influence communications approaches and drive alignment.
  • Demonstrated experience in employee engagement, change management, and internal communications planning.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and speaking skills.
  • Ability to analyze communications performance data and apply insights and industry best practices to improve effectiveness.
  • Experience using Microsoft communications tools such as SharePoint, Viva Engage, Microsoft Teams, and related platforms.
  • Familiarity with email development and distribution platforms such as Poppulo or Mailchimp.

What We Offer

  • An opportunity to shape how employees experience and engage with one of the world’s most recognized brands.
  • The chance to deliver high-impact internal communications that support business priorities, culture, and change.
  • Exposure to senior leaders and cross-functional teams across the North America Operating Unit.
  • A collaborative and mission-driven Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability (PACS) culture focused on impact, learning, and growth.
