Job Summary
The Sr. Manager, Internal Communications develops and executes employee communications and engagement strategies in support of our Finance, Legal, Strategic Development, and Enterprise Business Intelligence teams. These strategies connect teammates to our business strategy and culture, while reinforcing and elevating the business unit leaders’ vision and goals across teams of 200 to 2,400. In addition, this role is responsible for developing communication campaigns to disseminate information to the employee base on behalf of these teams, including policy and process related communications and news.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Develops and executes internal communications strategies that advance business and employee engagement objectives
Translates goals and context into comprehensive communications plans – Approaching tactics through the application of marketing/communications and change management best practices
Defines and proposes key messaging, telling a compelling story and clearly articulating value to the business and to employees
Writes effectively and with appropriate tone across leader messages, talking points, presentations, intranet content, digital signage, FAQs, videos, etc.
Advises and supports leaders and peers to achieve desired outcomes – Builds trusted partnerships and manages through influence
Develops and executes project plans and coordinates with partners and other Internal Communicators to ensure alignment and the effective dissemination of messaging and materials
Uses data and analytics to establish success metrics, guide stakeholders in interpreting results, and optimize strategies and campaigns
Manages consultants/contracted resources as needed, including graphic designers, creative agencies, event planning firms, etc.
Graphic design and video production experience is desirable
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
Six to seven+ years of experience as a communicator
Experience navigating large, complex organizations and working with cross-functional teams
Highly professional and comfortable interacting and consulting with senior executives across the organization; ability to develop effective partnerships at all levels
Experience managing many projects in a fast-paced environment
Experience executing high impact deliverables across a range of tactics and mediums: written, presentation, events, videos, social platforms, digital content and more.
Experience in applying change management methodology is desired
Efficient, fast-working, results-oriented
Ability to work independently and within a deadline-driven environment.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office and 365 applications (OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Share Point
Proficiency in graphic design applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, etc.) and video production a plus
