Our team designs and executes advertising programs, internal and external communications strategies, and client and prospect engagement programs to showcase who Corebridge is to our customers, distribution partners and employees. Our team oversees brand positioning and strategy, digital and social media, employee and executive communications, media relations, industry research and thought leadership, product marketing, customer regulatory communications, and social impact and sponsorship programming.

About The Role

  • This individual supports Corebridge sponsorship programs, including the organization’s flagship sponsorship with the PGA of America.
  • They are responsible for executing end-to-end, cross-enterprise strategic activation plans for existing and prospective partnerships, with a strong focus on the execution of sponsorship-related hospitality programs. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Vice President of Enterprise Sponsorships with the development of the PGA of America sponsorship activation, the largest marketing investment in partner/client-facing engagement and brand-building
  • Oversee all partner and client hospitality programs leveraging sponsorship assets and integrating brand and business messages
  • Engage with senior leadership and colleagues as a Center of Excellence expert in sponsorship activation and measurement
  • Manage and foster critical relationships with key sponsorship partners to ensure Corebridge is receiving and maximizing all benefits from the partnership
  • Bring together sponsorship programs with CSR, PR and Thought Leadership for maximum impact and to build reputation in the market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including Marketing Leadership Team, line-of-business leaders, creative developers, and Legal/Compliance partners
  • Manage sponsorship budgets including rights fees, contractual funds, agency budgets, and activation programming
  • Manage relationships with agencies, talent and other third parties

Skills and Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of experience within the sponsorship marketing field, agency experience a plus
  • Sponsorship hospitality activation experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent presentation, analytical and communications skills (written, verbal and interpersonal), including diplomacy and ability to advise senior-level executives and colleagues, and navigate across a diverse and complex organization
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management/building skills, experience in client management and/or agency side is a plus
  • Strategic mindset to integrate business and brand strategy into all communications, along with innovative and forward-looking outlook
  • Demonstrated ability to execute large-scale sponsorship hospitality programs
  • Program management and execution experience
  • Proven track record of success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Deep understanding of financial services
  • Ability to travel and work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends (expected to be up to 20% annually)
  • Understanding of key properties related to professional golf, including the PGA of America, Ryder Cup, PGA TOUR, and LPGA
  • Strong knowledge of the sponsorship landscape, including both traditional and emerging properties in sports and entertainment

Work Location

This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Houston, TX, office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
