As an ERP Platforms & Core Business Applications leader, you will oversee the operations, solution build, and functional testing of our enterprise applications. This role is crucial in ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and user satisfaction through effective management, monitoring, and support of our enterprise applications. This critical position supports our ongoing digital transformation initiatives, with SAP S/4HANA (RISE), SAP-IBP and SAP-SAC at the core, alongside multiple integrated business applications.
In this role, you will support existing transformation activities and participate in planning additional capabilities, leveraging platforms to enable technology and services that meet business needs. You will also manage and govern our Application Managed Services and Vendor Partners, driving continuous improvements in operations and services. Key areas of responsibility include application operations oversight, solution delivery management, compliance, lifecycle management, and release management. You will work closely with corporate and regional departments to identify information requirements and seek opportunities to enhance and improve systems and strategies. This role supervises and maintains Ocean Sprays repository of primarily SaaS based applications through best practices and the appropriate staffing and management of internal and external technical teams.
A Day in the Life...
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of enterprise applications, ensuring they meet performance and compliance standards
- Ensure that applications meet business requirements, systems goals and identify and resolve issues
- In partnership with Application Manages Service (AMS) providers, review and analyze existing applications’ effectiveness and efficiency and develop strategies for improvement
- Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application-usage best practices
- Work in partnership with IT Peers and Leadership to assess costs and system feasibility to support strategic and near-term needs
- Research and make recommendations on software products and services in partnership with OSC Business Leaders
- Evaluate new applications, systems software, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise
- Provide comprehensive application support and troubleshooting
- Drive DevOps testing strategies to enhance application development and deployment processes
- Govern Application Managed Service (AMS) Providers to ensure they meet established performance and service standards
- Establish and enforce development standards to maintain consistency and quality across all enterprise applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support transformation initiatives and align technology solutions with business objectives
- Continuously assess and improve application capabilities to support organizational growth and efficiency
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and documentation for continuity
- Develops and executes upgrade and patching strategies
- Oversee technical and system integration testing to ensure performance and compliance
- Manage release cycles and deployment processes
- Enable and supervise cloud services to support applications
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience in managing enterprise applications, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA (preferred RISE experience)
- Expertise in application operations, performance monitoring, solution build, and functional testing
- Strong troubleshooting and issue resolution skills as well as driving root cause analysis and problem management
- Strong understanding of DevOps testing strategies and practices
- Experience in governing Application Managed Service (AMS) providers and establishing development standards, reporting metrics and managing to them
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strategic thinker with a focus on aligning technology solutions with business goals.

Annual Salary:
$147,200 - $202,400
