What you'll be doing
As the Senior Manager, Enterprise Analytics, you'll join the Analytics Engineering & Data Analysis team, a group dedicated to empowering CIBC with actionable insights and decision-ready data. In this leadership role, you'll guide the development of robust data dashboards, Analytical reports. Oversee the transformation of curated datasets into analytics-ready layers, and ensure semantic consistency across dashboards and reports. You'll lead exploratory analysis to answer complex business questions, identify trends and opportunities within data, and translate findings into clear, actionable narratives for stakeholders. You'll partner closely with business teams to define KPIs and success metrics, collaborate with Data Engineers to enhance data sources, and validate data quality from a business perspective. As a people leader, you'll mentor and develop a team Data Analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and high performance.

How you'll succeed
Data Modeling and Analytics Leadership - Guide the development of decision-ready data models, ensuring facts, dimensions, and metrics are built to support business needs.
Analytics-Ready Data Transformation - Oversee the transformation of curated datasets into analytics-ready layers, maintaining semantic consistency across dashboards and reports.
Exploratory Analysis and Insights - Lead exploratory analysis to answer complex business questions, identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities, and translate findings into actionable narratives for stakeholders.
Business Intelligence Development - Oversee the development of dashboards, reports, and metrics in BI tools such as Looker and Power BI, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
Stakeholder Partnership - Partner with business teams to define KPIs and success metrics, ensuring data definitions are understandable and consistent.
Team Leadership and Development - Mentor and develop Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts, set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support career development.
Continuous Improvement - Champion best practices in analytics, data modeling, and stakeholder communication, fostering innovation and high performance.
Who you are
You can demonstrate: minimum of 5 years of experience in analytical skills and methodologies like SQL, Python, SAS, Databricks knowledge is beneficial.
You're a data storyteller. You have exceptional skills in translating complex data findings into clear, actionable narratives for diverse stakeholders.
You're a proven leader. You have a track record of leading, motivating, and developing high-performing analytics teams in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
You understand business impact. Your strong grasp of business domains and KPIs enables you to drive meaningful outcomes through analytics.
You have relevant education. You have a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
