The Sr. Manager, Digital transformation and Systems is responsible for the systems that provide specific functionality required by the Global Labeling function including analysis and metrics on operations performance.
This role also manages and implements a comprehensive digital transformation strategy including the evaluation of new functionality to existing systems and new applications. For IT applications, this individual is the primary interface with Global IT to communicate user and management requirements related to the labeling process. For both IT and Global Labeling Operations systems, this position manages both user testing and training for the Global Labeling Operations Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement a comprehensive digital transformation strategy that aligns with Baxter and Global Labeling’s vision and objectives
Collaborate with senior leadership, other IT teams, and other stakeholders to communicate the vision and benefits of digital transformation.
Conduct assessments of current technologies, processes, and systems to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and support for digital initiatives.
Act as Business Owner for systems including the handling, strengthen and maintain labelling specific systems whilst ensuring data integrity and availability. This includes the handling of any suppliers providing such systems.
Lead and manage digital transformation projects from inception to completion including feasibility assessments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
Provide training and support to employees to enhance digital literacy on current technologies and encourage adoption of new automation/ AI.
Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives and identify areas for further improvement
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Proven strong project/program management skills working with cross functional teams. PMP or PM certification or degree a plus
Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
Strong analytical and information gathering skills.
Strong proficiency in PowerBI.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in English.
Experience soliciting requirements from management, evaluating functional specifications, managing development and execution of testing required to deploy applications and systems.
Experience with medical device and/or pharmaceutical labeling processes and systems is a plus.
EDUCATION - Applicants must meet the following:
Bachelors Degree in related field, including IT, Computer Science, or Engineering, preferred
10+ years experience in systems/database business process management and improvement or related field, 5+ years project management, process improvement, and/or staff management experience.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The minimum salary for this position is €56,000.00 annually. Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors, all of which are subject to change. This position may also be eligible for competitive benefits, discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentive.
