Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is looking for a Sr. Manager of Demand Planning to join its world-class team.  This individual should be a dynamic professional who is looking for a rewarding future in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Vice President of Business Operations and based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.

The Senior Manager of Demand Planning will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment of supply chain operations with Bloom Energy’s strategic goals. This individual will lead the development and execution of demand planning processes to support sales, supply chain, and customer success initiatives. The role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Role and Responsibilities

Forecasting & Planning:

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for Bloom Energy products and services using historical data, market trends, and sales input.
• Implement planning tools to improve forecast accuracy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, Installations and Client Delivery teams to align demand plans with revenue targets and customer commitments.
• Collaborate with Finance and Supply Chain to ensure inventory optimization and cost efficiency.

Process Leadership:

• Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts and production schedules.
• Identify risks and opportunities in demand planning and develop mitigation strategies.

Analytics & Reporting:

• Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor forecast accuracy, inventory health, and service levels.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field 
• 8 –12 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or related roles, preferably in energy or manufacturing sectors. 
• Expertise in demand planning software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills required. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in statistical forecasting methods. 
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams. 
• Proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering measurable results.
• Creative problem-solving and ability to work with ambiguity

Salary Ranges:

$142,400.00 - $213,600.00
