Inmar

Sr. Manager, Data Governance

Headquarters, Winston Salem, NC Full time
ABOUT THE DATA GOVERNANCE TEAM

The Data Governance team provides enterprise-wide oversight and enablement to ensure data is properly classified, documented, trusted, secure, and used responsibly. Acting as a bridge across business, engineering, privacy, and security teams, the team develops and operationalizes governance frameworks, policies, standards, tooling, and metrics that reduce risk, improve data quality, enable AI, and drive cost accountability.

The team’s mission is to evolve governance from guidance to embedded, enforceable, and measurable execution, ensuring governance is built directly into how data platforms and pipelines are designed, delivered, and operated.

ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced data or platform leader who understands that governance is not just policy. It is operational discipline, ownership, and accountability at scale.

You combine strong technical fluency with strong people leadership, operating comfortably across strategy and execution. You bring structure to ambiguity, translate enterprise risk into clear priorities, and partner effectively with senior leaders across engineering, privacy, security, legal, and business teams to drive adoption.

You believe governance should enable teams—not slow them down—and you lead with high challenge and high support, setting clear expectations while fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous learning.
