Job Details:
Summary: This position is responsible for leading the management, strategy, and administration of the organization’s health and welfare benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, and ancillary benefits. The role oversees health plan performance and vendor relationships while partnering with internal stakeholders to design, implement, and continuously improve competitive, cost-effective, and compliant employee health programs. Key responsibilities include benefits strategy and planning, vendor evaluation and negotiation, data analysis and trend monitoring, employee communications, and benefits policy management. This role leads initiatives to enhance employee engagement, optimize program effectiveness, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive operational excellence while managing and developing a high-performing benefits team.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in benefits or health and welfare plan management, including responsibility for medical, dental, vision, and ancillary benefits.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop effective employee-facing benefits communications.
Computer Skills: Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite. Experience supporting benefits administration platforms such as Workday or SAP

Supervisory: This position will have direct reports.
Travel: Some travel may be required for this position.
