About the Role

The Sr. Manager of Beauty & Accessories Company Planning leads the cross-brand forecast processes for sales, margin, and inventory for the Beauty and Accessories categories across Gap Inc Brands. You are a strategic and influential financial partner to both the centralized Beauty and Accessory teams as well as Brand Company Planning, Merchandise Planning, Inventory Management, Commercial Planning and Marketing teams. This role is critical in bringing the Beauty and Accessories strategic priorities to life in our financials and ensuring that we continue to accelerate our growth.

What You'll Do

  • Scope: Own financial Sales, Margin, Inventory forecasts by Brand / Channel / Market / Expression for the Beauty and Accessories Business Units.

  • Lead the forecast processes through influential and actionable hindsighting, and outstanding cross-functional leadership. Key processes include: Weekly Business Reviews and forecast, Annual Budget, Monthly Forecasts, Seasonal Planning.

  • Own daily and weekly monitoring of sales, margin, levers and inventory trends. Effectively articulate insights, risks, and opportunities.

  • Produce ad hoc financial models and analyses that clearly quantify the cost / benefit of initiatives. Initiate analyses to solve problems, create alternatives, and provide recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.

  • Advance, standardize and maintain forecast tools and reporting.

  • Lead and partner across matrixed teams to ensure Brands are up to speed on Beauty and Accessory financial outlooks and needs to prevent surprises

  • 5+ years of financial planning, forecasting and analysis experience in retail required.

  • Very strong command of Microsoft Excel. Essbase, Omniture, Power BI, NOVA and Venus a plus
