Sr. Manager, Audiences

The purpose of this role is to enable and support project delivery through the capture and analysis of user and business needs, ensuring project outcomes are aligned with the service vision and business strategy.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Audiences who is skilled in billing and revenue management, project setup, accounts receivable insights and billing and account support. Specifically:

Billing & Revenue Management

  • Own and oversee all billing revenue streams processed through Mediaocean/Prisma and D365.
  • Ensure billing accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in accordance with client contracts and internal revenue recognition policies.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex billing issues and revenue discrepancies.

Client, Product & Project Setup

  • Lead the setup of new clients, products, and projects in Mediaocean/Prisma and D365, ensuring correct configuration for billing, reporting, and revenue tracking.
  • Partner with Sales, Client Operations, and Finance to translate commercial terms into system setups that support accurate execution.
  • Maintain strong governance over master data changes affecting billing and revenue.

Insertion Order (IO) Review & Approval

  • Review and approve insertion orders in Prisma when required, ensuring alignment with contractual terms, pricing, and billing structures.
  • Act as a control point to mitigate revenue leakage and downstream billing issues.

Accounts Receivable Oversight

  • Review AR aging on a regular basis, identifying risks, trends, and collection issues.
  • Partner with AR and Client Finance teams to resolve outstanding balances, disputes, and billing delays.
  • Provide visibility into AR risks and support working capital management.

Data Royalties & Usage Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain the monthly usage worksheet used to calculate data royalties.
  • Ensure usage data completeness, accuracy, and alignment with contractual royalty terms.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and FP&A to ensure royalty calculations are properly reflected in financial results.

Intercompany Billing & Accounting Support

  • Review and approve intercompany invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper support, and adherence to intercompany agreements.
  • Provide and validate appropriate accounting codes for intercompany transactions.
  • Support month‑end close activities related to intercompany billing and reconciliations.

Controls, Process Improvement & Leadership

  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls across billing, revenue, and intercompany processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and system enhancements.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and oversight to supporting analysts or managers as applicable.
  • Serve as a trusted finance partner to cross‑functional stakeholders.

 

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience using MediaOcean and Prisma
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics or related quantitative field required

The annual salary range for this position is $78,000-$100,000.  Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
