Job Title: Sr. Tester eCommerce applications

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tester with strong hands-on expertise in testing end‑to‑end web applications within integrated enterprise environments, preferably eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep functional and integration testing experience, strong analytical skills, and proven capability to drive UAT cycles, triage defects, and ensure high‑quality delivery across complex SAP and non‑SAP landscapes. Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) is highly desirable.

The Senior Tester will play a critical role in validating end-to-end business processes, coordinating with cross‑functional teams, and ensuring that the delivered solution meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and user acceptance.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Testing: Execute and lead E2E testing of complex web applications, ensuring functional, integration, and regression coverage across SAP Commerce Cloud and related systems.

2. SAP Commerce Cloud Testing (Preferred): Apply hands-on experience testing SAP Commerce Cloud features, OCC APIs, Backoffice flows, data integrations, and storefront functionalities.

3. Requirements & Acceptance Criteria Validation: Analyze business requirements and acceptance criteria to derive comprehensive and accurate test scenarios and expected results.

4. Integration Testing: Lead integration testing activities involving SAP ECC, SAP C4C, and other SAP/non-SAP systems, validating data flows and cross-application processes.

5. UAT Management: Plan, prepare, and drive UAT cycles, coordinating with business users, developers, project managers, and other stakeholders.

6. Agile Collaboration: Work closely with development, architecture, and product teams in an agile environment to ensure quality throughout the sprint lifecycle.

7. Defect Management: Prioritize defects, drive triage discussions, track resolution, and ensure closure using tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar.

8. Test Tools & Management: Utilize test case management tools such as ServiceNow, TestRail etc. to author, execute, and maintain test cases and test reports.

9. Responsive Testing: Perform multi-device/browser responsive testing using tools such as BrowserStack.

10. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear test documentation, execution reports, defect logs, and communicate risks proactively.

11. Production Release Support: Provide standby and validation support during production deployment windows.

Qualifications

6–10 years of total QA/testing experience, preferably in eCommerce domain. Strong experience testing integrated enterprise systems (SAP ECC, C4C, CPI, APIs, web services, queues, etc.). Exposure to SAP Commerce Cloud testing (OCC, Backoffice, data migration, storefront flows). Strong working knowledge of agile methodologies. Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, TestRail (or equivalent). Ability to design high-quality test scenarios and ensure adherence to QA standards.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and coordination capabilities. Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced agile environment. Strong documentation and reporting skills. Ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional and cross‑regional teams.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud functional flows and Backoffice usage. Exposure to SAP C4C quote/service ticket testing. Experience supporting SAP Commerce Cloud upgrades or integration extension pack upgrades. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
