Job Description:
The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the teams responsible for Infrastructure within Milwaukee Tool. This role ensures the efficient and effective delivery of IT services, maintains system reliability, and drives continuous improvement in operational processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals responsible for IT Infrastructure.
Participate in strategic planning for Infrastructure growth.
Foster a collaborative environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous growth.
Conduct regular team meetings, provide guidance, and ensure effective communication between teams.
Manage team performance, set team goals, and conduct performance evaluations.
Demonstrated strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage VP-level executives and other senior stakeholders.
Engineering Leadership
Demonstrated experience owning and evolving enterprise infrastructure architecture, including defining current-state and target-state designs across compute, storage, network, identity, and cloud platforms.
Experience leading the design and delivery of major infrastructure builds and transformations, including new platform implementations, technology refreshes, and large-scale modernization initiatives.
Ability to translate architectural designs into executable delivery plans, overseeing build activities, dependencies, and cross-functional execution through to production readiness.
Operational Excellence
Oversee the day-to-day operations of servers, networks, data centers, storage systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Develop and implement processes, procedures, and best practices to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, implement proactive measures to mitigate potential issues and provide reports with insights to stakeholders.
Collaborate with other Milwaukee Tool teams, such as Developers, Product Engineering, Production Support and Security, to ensure alignment and evolve service offerings.
Foster a team culture of continuous improvement and optimization: through standards, automation, and with a diverse workforce composition
Manage operational budget, optimizing resource allocation to achieve cost efficiency
Ability to lead recommendations, gain cross-functional alignment, and implement improvements for processes, documentation standards, procedures, and/or guidelines.
Experience operating within large, complex enterprise environments, including multi-site or global infrastructure footprints.
Strong understanding of infrastructure standards, reference architectures, and technology lifecycle management at scale.
Support Incident and Problem Management
Establish and maintain an effective support and incident rotation.
Coordinate and lead the resolution of critical incidents, ensuring timely communication and escalation as needed.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement proactive measures to minimize the recurrence of incidents.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of Incidents and SOP’s
Compliance and Security
Evolve and improve technical debt management process, including OS and equipment lifecycle.
Evolve and maintain an inventory management process.
Collaborate with the security team to stay in alignment on risk and need for mitigation.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Desired: 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure domains, 3+ years of IT Management experience
ITIL Certification Preferred
Possess excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring IT teams
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices
