Target Procurement is the driver of how we get the right product to the right guest better and faster, activating our mission of joy to impact thousands of lives daily. A role in Target Procurement means managing the inbound throughput and placement of the indirect materials required to operate Target stores and distribution centers. The Indirect and Supplier Performance Management team is responsible for demand intake, ordering, and tracking the non-retail products (e.g. Fixtures) that are required to operate both Target stores and distribution centers and providing timely visibility to Enterprise partners.
As a Sr. Inventory Operations Analyst within Target Procurement, you will:
· Elevate existing processes by identifying opportunities to simplify, streamline, and drive operational efficiency in support of New Stores, Remodels, Special Projects, and Transitions programs.
· Leverage data-driven insights to influence strategic decisions, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure consistent execution across teams and projects.
· Lead and support initiatives that require collaboration across multiple operational partners, ensuring project timelines are effectively developed, managed, and executed.
· Partner closely with key stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver reporting that enhances KPI visibility and drives performance improvement.

· Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Experience in implementing standardized workflows and best practices. Experience in identifying opportunities for process efficiencies and sharing learnings to drive continuous improvement.

· Communication: Experience in clearly communicating project updates, resolving feedback, and aligning teams on execution priorities. Experience in navigating conversations to ensure smooth project completion.
· Curiosity: Ability to come up with unique, creative, original solutions that add value. Ability to ask questions and seek out knowledge in service to continuous learning.
· Adaptability & Initiative: High level of initiative, accountability, and attention to detail, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and changing business directions.
· Problem Solving: Ability to identify the root cause of a problem, troubleshoot, resolve, & escalate issues quickly & effectively. Ability to synthesize and relay a summary of the issue and resolution.
· Supply Chain Experience: Experience working in a role within Supply Chain, or where you worked cross functionally with supply chain partners.
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
